About Us
UPLIFT youth performing arts
At UPLIFT, the performing arts aren’t an extracurricular — they’re a foundation. We’ve spent 22 years proving that when kids feel genuinely supported, they don’t just become better performers — they become better humans.

Featured Experience
"We made the switch to UPLIFT this year after competing with another dance studio for 5 years, and we can't say enough good things about it! The teachers really take their time with the girls and cheer them on to improve while lifting them up. We've already seen great progress in my daughter's skills, and she is so happy! The owner is very involved and it's clear that she cares deeply about the studio, as well as the students and parents. Another important thing is that it feels like a family, not just in words, but in reality."

We are new to this studio and have nothing but good things to say. The teachers are so loving and really encourage my daughter and take time to help correct quickly. We have seen so much growth in her skills and I thank UPLIFT and their fantastic staff. So happy to be a part of this studio!

I have had my younger girls dance here and we've loved it. We also went to the preschool, Learning in Motion, that is connected with the dance studio and it was amazing. Highly recommend.
– Jamie Black
Their dance is so fun and the teachers are the best. My daughter gets nervous and shy but the teachers helped her to feel comfortable and excited about dance every time. Couldn’t thank them enough! Love UPLIFT!

Three of my kids have taken classes here. They enjoyed the teachers and their experience. Everyone is warm and friendly and classes are challenging enough to keep kids learning but also having fun. My kids made friends in their hip hop teams and in their theater classes. They learned new things about performing and developed their dance and performing skills. Being part of a musical made them more confident and got them interested in theater. I highly recommend this studio.
– Dahlee
Our kids love this studio. They are very kind and responsive when I need something.

FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Can my child try a class before committing?
Yes! We offer trial classes so new students can experience the studio, meet instructors, and see if the class feels like a good fit.
Is previous experience required?
Not at all. Many students start with no prior experience. Our instructors meet each child where they are and help them build skills and confidence.
How are students placed in the right class?
Students are typically placed based on age and experience level. If needed, our instructors may recommend the class where your child will thrive.
Do students have opportunities to perform?
Yes — multiple times throughout the year. At UPLIFT we believe performance experience is about more than just the stage — it’s where confidence is built, hard work pays off, and students discover what they’re capable of.
What makes your studio different?
At UPLIFT, the difference isn’t just what we teach — it’s how we teach it. We believe the performing arts are a vehicle for building confident, resilient, well-rounded human beings. Every class, every rehearsal, and every performance is designed with the whole child in mind, not just their technique.
We’re also one of the only performing arts studios in the area with a licensed Academic Preschool under the same roof, because we believe that foundation starts early.
Our instructors are professionally trained and deeply invested in every student, and we’re committed to creating an environment where kids feel safe to grow, take risks, and shine — including a firm commitment to age-appropriate music and costumes at every level.
